Alexander Paynter, MS
Biostatistician
Alex Paynter, MS is a biostatistician at Sage Bionetworks, collaborating closely with the AACR Project GENIE® Coordinating Center since 2023. Paynter joined Project GENIE to contribute to initial analyses of the Biopharma Collaborative (BPC) cohorts and to lend an analyst’s perspective to processes, pipelines and data models. Prior to his work on Project GENIE, Paynter worked at Seattle Children’s Research Institute focusing on clinical studies of cystic fibrosis. Paynter earned a BS in mathematics and MS in biostatistics from the University of Washington, and still resides near Seattle today
