Since its inception, AACR Project GENIE® has established itself as a pioneering clinico-genomic initiative, dedicated to providing open-access data through the collaborative efforts of its strategic partners: Sage Bionetworks and the cBioPortal for Cancer Genomics at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK).
cBioPortal for Cancer Genomics at MSK is a globally recognized platform providing interactive visualization, analysis, and downloads of large-scale cancer genomics datasets. It serves as an essential tool for researchers, enabling meaningful insights into cancer biology, treatment response, and patient outcomes.
Sage Bionetworks is a nonprofit research organization at the forefront of open science. Its multidisciplinary team—including scientists, engineers, designers, and governance experts—develops integrative technology platforms that enhance biomedical research through data-sharing, analytics, and reproducibility.
Through these collaborations, the AACR Project GENIE Registry aggregates, harmonizes, and links clinical-grade, next-generation sequencing (NGS) data with real-world clinical outcomes collected from nearly every cancer patient treated at our participating institutions.
