AACR Project GENIE® BioPharma Collaborative (BPC)

The AACR Project GENIE® BPC is a multi-year, pre-competitive initiative designed to curate high-quality oncology datasets that support drug development and biomarker discovery.

BPC Phases 1 and 2: Expanding Solid Tumor Cohorts

• 10 solid tumor cohorts with deep clinical annotation (~20,000 cases).
• Cohorts aligned with active drug pipelines powering a variety of clinical and translational research uses.

Phase 1

• Phase 1 cohorts are publicly available now.
  • Access available AACR Project GENIE® Data
• In years one and two, the project deeply clinically annotated nearly 8,000 patients with lung, colorectal, early-onset breast, pancreatic, prostate, and bladder cancers treated at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Princess Margaret Cancer Center, and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.

Phase 2

• Collaborators can still join Phase 2 with a full two-year data embargo for data access.
• In years three through six, data collection expanded to include additional patients with lung and colorectal cancers, as well as patients with cutaneous melanoma and kidney, ovarian, and esophagogastric cancers. Data were contributed by Phase 1 institutions and three additional centers: the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University, Providence Cancer Institute, and Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology.
